Class Protocols

No student is allowed entry after the start time of class. Please allow yourself enough time to arrive and get situated. Arrival past start time may result in a forfeit of your reserved space.

In order to maintain a safe teacher/student ratio, we may limit the number of students per class. Signing up means you are reserving a spot with a yoga instructor. Please be respectful when signing up for classes. If you do not plan to attend, this may be taking an experience from another student.

No cell phones allowed during the class. Ringing cell phones can be very disruptive. Please allow yourself to be “unplugged” while you are practicing.

No pets allowed during the class. As much as we LOVE our four-legged friends, we ask that you keep them at another location.

Please be conscious of perfumes, oils and lotions, as this may be disruptive to the yogi friends next to you.

Please be mindful and practice safe social distancing. Do not invade someone’s space. There will be no hands-on adjustments and essential oils used from any yoga instructor and instructors will stay on their mats for the duration of the class. Live Stream classes will continue. Camera will be aimed at instructor only. You will sign up same way and receive the link the same way.

Size of Classes
Classes and experiences outdoors will be sized based on the guidelines permitted for outdoor social gatherings from the Ontario Ministry of Health (Canada) and Ministry of Health (Spain)’s Covid-19 directives. If you register for the class and then cannot make it, please go back in and cancel at least 3 hours before class. Any no shows or last-minute cancellations will be charged a fee automatically of the class value.

COVID PRECAUTIONS

The wellbeing and security of our community is our main concern and we request your help with keeping yourself as well as other people protected and sound during these phenomenal occasions and in dealing with Covid-19. Thruyoga is finding ways to secure our community. Also, there are steps whereby every individual can become accountable for their own wellbeing and health when we practice together outside. We anticipate that moving forward we could provide a solid yoga climate to our adored yoga community. We believe that yoga is a brilliant approach to remain resilient. We trust that you will proceed with your yoga practice with us, keeping our yoga community flourishing and powerful.

Thruyoga is committed to keeping our environmental standards at its highest level of safety. Here’s what you can expect while we practice together.

Stay Home
If you exhibit flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties or a rise in temperature, please stay home! Keep our community safe.

Practice Safely
If you voluntarily participate at an outdoor class provided by Thruyoga, always follow the rules given by the instructor during the yoga class in order to minimize the spread of Coronavirus/Covid-19. We encourage you to wash your hands before and after class.

Be social wise while we build community immunity. Remember that until enough people are immunized against COVID-19, we still must follow COVID Wise public health guidelines to protect ourselves and others. Even those who have received a vaccine will need to:

W – Wear a mask or face covering before and after the practice. Although its use is mandatory at all times, masks are not required for yoga. You may wear your mask before the practice and once on your mat, you may remove your mask for the class in order to prevent lack of oxygen or hyperventilation. Once the class is over, you may return to wearing your mask. Instructors will wear masks and take them off on their mats.

I – Isolate yourself from others when you are sick and get tested immediately if you have COVID-like symptoms.

S – Stay three metres apart from those outside your household or your chosen social support person(s). When practicing, place your mats at a physical distance of three metres on all four sides between members.

E – Exercise proper hand hygiene; wash your hands regularly or use hand sanitizer especially before touching your face.

Do all you can to create a safe environment in a very unfamiliar time.

Sanitization
We will provide hand sanitizer at the outdoor classes. We suggest you wash your hands or sanitize before and after class.

We burn sage before and after each class as it offers protection against bacterial and viral infections.
